Recycle 4 Waipa

Residents have sent a clear message to Council that better and more accessible recycling services are required. As a result Council, and its contractor Streetsmart, have established a full weekly kerbside recycling service for Cambridge, Te Awamutu, Kihikihi, Pirongia, Ohaupo, Ngahinapouri, Rukuhia and Karapiro, and a fortnightly collection for the rural residents of Waipa.

This recycling service provides for the collection of plastics types 1-7, certain metals, cardboard, paper and glass.
