As part of the 2008/09 Annual Plan consultation process, Council will be hosting two Open Days to showcase key projects and services, and raise awareness about the draft Annual Plan and the likely rate impacts for 2008/09.
Key projects that will have their own information booth include Karapiro Domain Development, Cambridge Pool, Te Awamutu Museum, Heart of Te Awamutu (town centre upgrade), Roading and Cambridge Traffic Study, District Plan Review, Annual Plan (including Rates), Recycling, Biodiversity and Heritage and Stormwater and Waste water. Key services highlighted will be Animal Control, Building Control and Waipa Libraries.
Each booth will be manned by Council staff to answer questions, and will include key information, plus charts, props, pictures and plans where possible.
All members of the public are invited to attend one or both of the open days, which will run from 3pm-6pm.
In Cambridge: Wednesday March 19 Cambridge Town Hall.
In Te Awamutu: Wednesday March 26 Council Chambers.
