Waipa District Community Board discretionary grants are now open to community group applicants.
These annual grants are open to non-profit community groups whose services contribute to community wellbeing. Previous grants awarded have gone towards expenses such as administration or running costs, event costs, or minor repairs and maintenance. Grants generally range from $200 - $2000.
Application forms can be collected from either council office, or downloaded from www.waipadc.govt.nz under ‘About our Services – Community & Recreation’. The closing date for applications is 5pm, 31 August 2009.
