The Te Awamutu District and Cambridge Community Arts Councils have allocated the second round of grants this year for Creative Communities New Zealand funding.
Fourteen applications were received asking for $25,803 of funding. There was $10,746 awarded to 11 groups.
Unallocated funds will be awarded at the next funding round in April 2011.
Successful applicants were: Hilary Ramage $510; Te Awamutu Maori Women’s Welfare League $606; Te Awamutu Creative Fibre $338; Scream Rosetown Festival Well Hung art exhibition $1,342; Te Awamutu Free Concert in the Park Trust $2,000; Synergy Trust $2,100; Cambridge Autumn Festival $1,350; Gail Drake $1,000; Cambridge Community Arts council $1,000; Sustainable Cambridge $500.
