A section of Kaipaki Road will be closed for the next three weeks so that major repairs can be made to a collapsed culvert.
The section of road, between Lynd and Berquist Roads will be closed from Tuesday October 7 until Friday October 24.
The 42 metre long Kaipaki Road culvert, installed in 1987, has partially collapsed, necessitating the excavation and closing of this section of road. A detour via Lynd, Parallel and Berquist Roads will be in place.
Work will begin on this on October 7. Council would like to thank residents and visitors for their patience while these critical repairs are completed, and will endeavour to see the road reopened as soon as possible.
