District Promotion Fund 2008-2009



Each year Waipa District Council’s District Promotion Fund supports a number of events within our district, from small community-specific to those of nationwide significance.

Funding is allocated yearly, and a total of $100,000 is available.  This year Council received a total of 27 applications, requesting funds of $176,995.

The following events were granted funding in the 2008/09 round:
