Calling all Waipa groups and organisations – ensure your funding applications are the best they can be by attending a free half-day workshop on November 12.
Several Waikato funding agencies, including Department of Internal Affairs (COGS and Lotteries grants), Trust Waikato and Community Waikato, will be presenting the workshop at the Cambridge Health and Community Centre, and Waipa District Council Community Leisure Officer Andrea Duncan says it is a great opportunity to find out what funders are really after.
“The workshop will offer practical hands-on coaching including how to complete an application form and what information funders are looking for, plus tips to help increase your chances of a successful outcome. You can also ask questions relating to your own requirements. I highly recommend the workshop, especially for those volunteers new to the funding process.”
