Waipa District Council has started development of its next 10 Year Plan, covering the years 2012-2022.
More information will be added to this page as the project develops over the coming weeks.
As the table of information indicates below, the Community will have the opportunity to have input and make submissions to the draft 10 Year Plan.

Important Dates: 2012-2022 Ten Year Plan
Stage one - draft plan development
Sept 2011: Targeted consultation with key stakeholder groups begins
Dec 2011: Council considers the 10 Year Plan draft work programme and budgets
Stage two - draft plan consultation period
March 2012: The Draft 10 Year Plan consultation begins and submissions called for
April 2012: Submissions close
May 2012: Submissions hearings held
More details will be added soon about how to get involved in the consultation for the 10 Year Plan.
Stage three - draft plan deliberations and adoption
May 2012: The Council makes a decision on the submissions and the revised 10 Year Plan.
June 2012: The Council adopts the 2012-2022 10 Year Plan.
