LTCCP (Long Term Council Community Plan) 2006

 

The 10-year Plan  2006-16 is Council’s main planning document. It details the activities Council intends to carry out over the next ten years, how much these activities will cost, and how they will be funded.

All councils in New Zealand are required to produce a 10-year Plan (Long Term Council Community Plan (LTCCP)) for the period 1 July 2006 - 30 June 2016. The 10-year Plan must then be reviewed every 3 years. These plans help identify how Council contributes to the outcomes the community wants to achieve. They also provide an opportunity for democratic, local decision-making.

The submission period for Council's Draft 10-year Plan 2006-16 closed on 18th April 2006. Council received 85 submissions to the Plan and heard submissions from 8-9th May 2006. Changes as a result of public submissions were added to the final 10-year Plan 2006-16, which can be viewed below.
