Regional Perception Survey
This Waipa summary report provides results of a Waikato regional perception survey recently undertaken by International Research Consultants. The survey was undertaken as part of a regional collaborative approach to identify and monitor community outcomes. The first survey was undertaken in 2007 and the 2010 survey was the second to date. 70 respondents in each district were interviewed by telephone during June and July 2010. In the report the results for Waipa in 2010 are compared with the 2007 results and are also shown in comparison to the other districts in the Waikato Region. In most results Waipa compared very favourably with other districts, and Waipa had the highest result in the Waikato Region for people's happiness with their quality of life.
