Te Awamutu
Te Awamutu is well known as the Rose Town of New Zealand and is internationally recognised as being the home of Split Enz/Crowded House musician brothers Tim & Neil Finn. There is much more to this town than music and flowers. The thriving community can be found 25 minutes south of Hamilton on SH3.
Cambridge
Cambridge is situated 20 minutes south of Hamilton on SH1 and is a favourite stop for travellers heading north or south. Known as the 'Town of Trees' Cambridge is steeped in history, much of which can be seen on the Heritage Trail Walk. Notable too for the quality and number of antique shops, cafes and galleries, Cambridge truly offers something for everyone and attracts many thousands of visitors each year.
