Membership

Library membership is free to people living in the Waipa District. Those living outside Waipa District may register by paying an annual subscription. People living in the Waikato District Council area should inquire at the desk for subsidy details. Proof of residence is requested at registration.

Items Available For Loan 

 Books for all ages (including large print books & car manuals)
 Talking books (for the print disabled)
 Cassette tapes for adults and children
 Compact discs, art prints, videos & cd-roms

Other Services
 Reference section and photocopying facilities
 Ability to place reservations on/or interloan items (Charges apply)
 Online catalogue (we are happy to demonstrate use)
 CD-Rom. Community Resources Database

Special Services
Internet: public access is available at Cambridge and Te Awamutu Libraries. Bookings advisable. (Charges apply)
Word Processing facilities are available. Bookings advisable. (Charges apply)

Fees & Charges
All adult books have an administration fee of 50c. All books from the childrens and teenage sections are free.

There is a 40% discount for holders of the Community Services Card, provided that the card is produced each time the discount is claimed. 

Children to 7th form level may borrow two free adult books for study and personal interest.

To claim these discounts, books must be issued on the patron's own library card. Most non-book items are rental (see the Library Fees List displayed on or near desk).

Please present your library card for all transactions (including renewals).

Limit of 30 per borrower - we DO charge for overdue items.

Remember you may renew most items by fax or phone.
