Bylaws

The following Bylaws have been made in accordance with the Local Government Act and other relevant legislation and control specific activities within the district:

Bylaws being reviewed - Speed Limits and Stock Droving

Waipa District Council is currently undertaking a review of the Speed Limits Bylaw 2005 and the Stock Droving Bylaw 2005.

The high level timeframes for the review of both bylaws are:

.       Preliminary consultation                          closes 10 February 2010
.       Draft policies prepared                           by the end of 20 February 2010
.       Consultation on the draft policies           April/May 2010
.       Adoption of new policies                         by 30 June 2010

Council invites public feedback regarding the existing bylaws and it will be taken into account in the preparation of the draft bylaws. Please send your feedback to policyanalyst@waipadc.govt.nz or post to Waipa District Council, Private Bag 2402, Te Awamutu 3840 by 10 February 2010.
