Waipa District Council has granted consent for a new residential development in Cambridge.
The Williamson Street riverside development will include 47 compact homes in a gated community, including one and two bedroom apartments, and four bedroom townhouses.
A number of conditions have been placed on the consent relating to earthworks, construction noise, traffic management, and landscaping.
The development has been designed by local Cambridge business LAD Architecture.
The developer and consent holder, Rutherford Property Investments, will start construction early in the new year.
