All building work requires approval by Council through a building consent.
We have meeting rooms available for hire outside office hours at Council facilities in both Te Awamutu and Cambridge. All rooms are suitable for business and group meetings.
The Council Chambers in Te Awamutu can hold up to 100 people, or there are two adjoining committee rooms that can cater for approximately 25 people each. All three rooms can be opened up to accommodate approximately 150 people.

If additional chairs are required, these can be hired at an additional cost. Kitchen facilities and toilets are available.
The committee room in Cambridge can hold up to 75 people. There is also a smaller meeting room for approximately 15 people, with kitchen facilities and toilets available.
