Lake Cameron - Tree fall risk

A number of large oak trees in the Lake Cameron reserve were damaged in the March storm and are at risk of falling without warning onto the bridge and/or boardwalk in the eastern corner. These trees are marked in red on the map below.

This part of the reserve has been fenced off to prevent anyone being under the trees when they fall. The trees are being regularly assessed while we work to make the track safer. Please do not go behind the temporary fence, or under the oak trees.
