Low water pressure notice – Te Awamutu
Water Works
We’re carrying out essential maintenance work on the water mains. For this work to happen, water pressure will be reduced to properties on the following roads, on Monday, July 28, between 9am and 3pm:
- Pioneer Drive
- Saddler Terrace
- Gateway Drive
- Revelation Drive
- Highland Crescent
- Sierra Place
- Takahe Lane
- Whio Lane
- Horizon Drive
- Tauhou Way
- Coach Drive
- Hihi Lane
- Rolling Hills Lane
This work may take longer if unexpected issues occur. We will contact you if there is likely to be a delay.
If a reduction in water pressure will cause significant problems for your health or for anyone in your household, please let us know as soon as possible by calling the number at the end of this letter.
Once the mains valve is turned back on, we will flush the main pipes. This can cause air bubbles to become trapped. We suggest running your outside taps for 10 - 15 minutes and capturing the water in a bucket to reuse in the garden.
