Water shutdown - Leamington

Water will be turned off to some properties on Lamb Street, Cambridge Road, Kaipaki Road, Pukerimu Lane and Thirlwall Lane on Tuesday, February 17 from 9.30am to 1pm.

This work is to allow us to connect a newly installed watermain within Kotare Park subdivision to Council’s network.

Areas affected:

• Lamb Street, between Milton Road and Cambridge Road
• Section of Cambridge Road, between Kaipaki Road and Paralell Road
• Section of Kaipaki Road, between Cambridge Road and the gully on Kaipaki Road
• Pukerimu Lane
• Thirlwall Lane

We'll let you know ahead of time if there are any changes.

We will flush the main pipes once the water is turned back on. This can cause air bubbles to become trapped. We suggest running your outside taps for 10 - 15 minutes and capturing the water in a bucket to reuse in the garden.
