Water shutdown - Alexandra and Sloane Streets

Water will be turned off to some properties on Alexandra and Sloane Streets, Te Awamutu on Tuesday, March 17 from 10.30pm to 5.30am, while we complete essential maintenance work on the watermains.

If you will be home during the shutdown, we recommend you store water for daily tasks.

We'll let you know ahead of time if there are any changes.

We will flush the main pipes once the water is turned back on. This can cause air bubbles to become trapped. We suggest running your outside taps and capturing the water in a bucket to reuse in the garden.
