Centennial Park is getting some fresh exercise equipment to enhance safety and enjoyment in the park’s active recreation areas.
To create a safer space, the junior play equipment will be relocated to Hiskens Reserve Playground, and adult exercise equipment installed in Centennial Park to complement the skatepark, exercise area and pump track.
Work will begin on Tuesday, October 28 and is expected to take four weeks to complete. Work will take place weekdays between 7.30am and 4.30pm. A small section of the park will be temporarily fenced off during the works, but there will be no road closures on surrounding streets.
