Te Awamutu War Memorial Park power box installation

Our contractors, with help from Waipā Networks, will be installing a refurbished power box at Te Awamutu War Memorial Park on Tuesday, April 7 and Wednesday, April 8.
The unit has been repaired and will be relocated to a better spot along the fence on Mutu Street. The previous power box had become rusty and damaged, so it was removed, refurbished, and made safe to keep power running reliably to the park.
This work won’t impact park users or the footpath along Mutu Street.
It will be installed in time for the Anzac Day commemorations.
