The Karāpiro Marathon and HCC Kairangi Loop Tarmac Sprint are happening this weekend, April 18 – 19.

Temporary road closures will be in place during the events as follows:

Karāpiro Marathon: Saturday, April 18.

  • 7am–4pm: Maungatautari Rd - between Gate 1 and Gate 3 of Mighty River Domain
  • 7.30am–2:45pm: Karāpiro Dam Rd

HCC Kairangi Loop Tarmac Sprint: 7am–7pm, Sunday, April 19.

  • Kairangi Rd – from Robinson Rd to southern end of Robinson Rd
  • Robinson Rd – full length.
