The North Island Secondary Schools Cycling Championships will take place this Saturday, July 4, and Sunday, July 5, at the Mighty River Domain, Lake Karāpiro.
While there won’t be any road closures, traffic management teams will be on the course to help keep cyclists safe. There may be brief delays near Mighty River Domain during race starts.
If you’re travelling through the area, please take extra care and follow the directions of traffic management crews on the roads listed below:
- Maungatautari Road (between Redoubt Road and Mighty River Domain)
- Redoubt Road
- Nickle Road
- Norwegian Road
- Kairangi Road
- Roto O Rangi Road (between Kairangi Road and Nickle Road)
