Cambridge - Shakespeare Street night resurfacing works
Road Works and Closures
Shakespeare Street will be closed between Cook Street and Wordsworth Street on Wednesday, July 29 from 7pm to 6am for resurfacing works.
The work will help maintain a safe road and provide a smoother, more comfortable journey. Completing the works at night helps minimise disruption for commuters, residents and local businesses.
Emergency services will have priority access. Please take care on the new surface and avoid sharp turns and heavy braking when the road reopens.
Works may be postponed if weather or other unforeseen circumstances affect the schedule.
