Donate a bra

Starting this September, you can give your pre-loved bras a second life by dropping them into one of our collection boxes. They'll be donated to women in the Pacific Islands, helping extend the life of quality clothing and reduce textile waste.

We’re accepting freshly cleaned:

• Bras, including sports, nursing and mastectomy bras
• Swimwear
• New or nearly new underwear
• Fabric nappies

You’ll find collection boxes at our Waipā District Libraries:

Selwyn Lane, Te Awamutu

Donations will be accepted from Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

This campaign is funded through the Government's Waste Disposal Levy, which helps us to run projects that encourage reducing waste.
