Don’t bin the bad stuff! If you’ve got old paint, chemicals, fuel or other hazardous products hiding around your home, bring them to our Household Hazardous Waste free drop-off day for safe disposal.
When: 8.30am – 2.30pm, Sunday, November 1
Where: Cambridge - the exact location will be advised when your booking is confirmed.
We will accept:
- Garden chemicals (insecticides, herbicides and fungicides)
- General household waste (cleaners, poisons, solvents, batteries and paint)
- Pool chemicals (chlorine and Algaecides)
- Automotive waste (antifreeze, brake fluid, fuel, motor oil and batteries)
No business or farm waste will be accepted.
This drop-off day is open to all Waipā residents, but registrations are essential. Book your allocated spot by Sunday, October 25 either online at bit.ly/myhazwaste or call 0508 CHEMICAL (0508 243 642).
