Turn your pre-loved clothing into something you'll love wearing again in this hands-on upcycling workshop.
Join Sarah from Sip & Sew for an inspiring afternoon of sewing, creativity and great company. Designed for those with basic sewing machine skills, this workshop will explore creative ways to reconstruct, redesign and reimagine garments while learning techniques to extend the life of your clothing.
Whether you're transforming a dress into a matching two-piece set, giving a men's business shirt a new look or reinventing a favourite op shop find, you'll discover practical ways to create something unique and personal.
Bring along one or two clothing items you'd like to upcycle and work through your ideas with guidance from Sarah.
Tickets are $20 and include hot and cold drinks. Suitable for adults aged 18+.
This workshop is part of Slow Fashion September, proudly supported by Waipā District Council, Hamilton City Council and Waikato District Council through the Government's Waste Disposal Levy.
