Join us for an afternoon of style, sustainability, and inspiration while swapping your clothes for other preloved goods.
How the swap works
Purchase your event ticket and bring up to 10 items of clothing that are in great condition. No stains or damage and in clean condition please (we will not be accepting items of clothing from Temu or SHEIN.) If you don’t have clothes to swap, just bring your ticket and some cash if you wish to purchase some preloved pieces; items will be $5 each (unless marked otherwise). There will be a rack or two of more expensive garments on the day. These garments would normally be part of our auction.
Dropping off your items
You’ll receive a token for every item of clothing you bring (up to 10 tokens). You can drop off your items either on:
- Any time from now to Cambridge East School Office during school hours or DM @revampstyleswap on Instagram and we can arrange a pick up/drop off point
- On Friday, September 18between 5-7pm at Cambridge East school hall
- Or Saturday, September 19 (event day) at Cambridge East School - Room 5 between 12:30pm - 1:30 pm.
On the day
Bring cash and reusable bags for your swap finds (card not accepted, however we can do bank transfer).
Doors open at 1.30pm to mingle and enjoy some food before our panel discussion starts at 2pm. At 2.30pm you’ll get a chance to mingle, chat, and enjoy more kai. From 3pm explore the clothes available (VIP access from 2:40 pm)
Checkout using your tokens (1 item = 1 token). Any additional items will be at a cost of $5 per piece (unless marked otherwise). All leftover clothing will be donated to local op shops in Cambridge and Hamilton.
All money from the clothing swap will be donated to Cambridge Community House.
This event is funded through the Government’s Waste Disposal Levy, helping council run projects that encourage reducing waste.
