8 April 2019
Funding is now available for creative projects throughout the Waipā district.
The Creative Communities Scheme (CCS) supports community arts initiatives that help grow and promote creativity. Funds are provided by Creative New Zealand for Council to administer each year with rounds open in April and September. For this round just over $22,000 is available.
Funding can cover materials for arts activities, workshops, venue or equipment hire, promotion of arts activities and so much more.
Funding is open to projects that run between 1 May 2019 and 30 November 2019 and should focus on at least one of the scheme's three criteria; access and participation, diversity or young people.
Application guides and forms are available online at waipadc.govt.nz/creativecommunities or from Council offices in Cambridge or Te Awamutu. Applications are open until 5pm, Friday 3 May.
