2022/23 funding
dates
A second round for discretionary fund applications will open 6 February 2023 and will close 17 March 2023. Applications will be considered at the Cambridge Community Board, Te Awamutu-Kihikihi Community Board and the Pirongia Ward Committee meetings in April 2023.
Please note that the allocation for discretionary funding has changed from previous years and will only be considered outside of the two funding rounds described if an application can clearly demonstrate an urgent requirement for funds.

Accountability report
Successful grant recipients are required to submit an accountability report once their grant has been spent before 30 June of the year following the grant.

Promoting your event
If your community organisation is hosting an event, workshop, fundraiser or open day and you need some extra promotion that's affordable, then head along to whatsonwaipa.co.nz and promote your event for free!
The site offers promotion, venue ideas and tips and tricks for a successful event.
All you need to do is sign up, list your event details, add a photo and it's good to go!
