Do these businesses need to be SHE assured to apply and be on the panel?
Yes you will need to be SHE or Totika prequalified - If you are not pre-qualified, you will need to agree to become pre-qualified – this will be required before you can do any work for us. If you are SHE or Totika Health and Safety prequalified, a copy of your certification should be provided with your application to the panel.
Does a business have to reapply every three years?
Yes, the panel is renewed every three years and ‘existing’ businesses will need to reapply if they wish to remain on the panel.
What is the benefit of the Trade Services Panel?
The benefit of having a panel in place will mean we have agreed terms and conditions around engagement, rates, process for how engagement occurs, response times, which are consistent across the organisation. We ensure we are using contractors who provide good customer service to both Council and its ratepayers.
